"Welcome to our sailing blog! My name is Hendrik and I have been a passionate sailor since I was twelve. I've owned my own boat since 2013 and have had many adventures with it - including a trip around the world that took me as far as England, where I was stranded for quite some time 😉 .

In 2017 I bought an Amel Kirk called Sans Souci, which I never had any worries with for the following years.

We took delivery of a new boat a few months ago: the Sans Souci II, a Hanse 311. We set off on new adventures with her in mid-April and can hardly wait to explore the world's oceans. I love being on the boat for long periods of time and enjoying the peace and freedom that sailing brings. We want to share our experiences and adventures on this blog and take you with us on our sailing adventures."
